As every year, students from SEK International School Santa Isabel have participated in the programme for boys and girls aged between 6-9 years old that allows them to discover fun and capture their curiosity for science, technology, engineering, art and maths (STEAM) through meaningful and playful learning.
The programme inspires them to create ideas, solve problems and overcome obstacles, while enabling them to gain confidence in the appropriate use of technology. Participants collaborate, cooperate and develop the essential teamwork skills needed in a dynamic and ever-changing world of work.
The students from SEK International School Santa Isabel presented their LEGO model which consisted of a playground that was accessible to children with reduced mobility and contained various motors and a sensor. They also carried out a research project on the different playgrounds that exist in the world and presented it. They won the award for programming for the great work they did.
