Chinese New Year

With the motive of wanting to celebrate Chinese New Year, on the 31st of January the students of first, second and third grade of primary had the opportunity to go to a course celebrated by mothers of students from China.

They explained what the celebrations consist of: the traditional dishes, for example the famous Dumplings, traditional songs, the stories, and many other interesting things about the celebration of this holiday.

To finish, they made several crafts related to the Year of the Rabbit, one of the twelve allocated animals.

The students enjoyed this enriching experience a lot, as through these experiences they get to know traditions from other cultures that surround them.
