KARATE

On the weekend of April 30, 2023, was held in Getafe the first phase of the Sports Games of the Community of Madrid. Students from the SEK Santa Isabel School participated in the Karate modality and obtained magnificent results.

In the competition, the following students won medals and qualified for the next phase. Gold medal: Nicolás and Alba; Silver medal: Mateo and Alejandra; Bronze medal: Luis, Carlos and Pablo, and Finalist medal: Jean, Carlos, Daniel, Noa and Diana.

SEK-Santa Isabel has been collaborating with the Yas-Ryu Karate School for 15 years, in which groups have multiplied by 10, and dozens of students have completed their training obtaining a black belt and achieving sporting success in competitions.

The SEK Educational Institution is committed to sport as a fundamental element in the integral education of the students.
