The teachers of SEK-Santa Isabel have participated in the 9th edition of the Felipe Segovia Symposium. Once again, the Symposium has brought together over a thousand teachers from SEK International Schools and the Camilo José Cela University to share some of the most innovative educational experiences implemented in their classrooms over the past year. In this edition, initiatives related to the SEK Competency Profile have been presented.
Following the Symposium, once again, the SEK Education Group has presented its annual awards on SEK Day, recognizing the work of its teachers and professionals, both in SEK International Schools and at the Camilo José Cela University. The SEK Educational Institution Award for the best professional inquiries in the Primary Education category went to ‘Cognitive Stimulation in the Classroom: Arrowsmith Program,’ presented by Rosalía Martín Villalba and María del Mar Ribas Villalonga, teachers at SEK-Santa Isabel.
The awardees and the SEK and UCJC educational community gathered at the Villafranca Campus of the Camilo José Cela University, where the awards ceremony took place. The event also recognized the dedication of the professionals within the institution. Victoriano Martínez Lomas, a teacher at SEK-Santa Isabel, received this acknowledgment for his professional trajectory at the SEK Educational Institution.
