The Primary Years Programme is an international education programme and methodology designed to promote the all-round development of children.

It focusses on the all-round development of our students with attention to their social, physical, emotional and cultural needs, as well as their academic potential.

The Primary Years Programme philosophy is expressed in a series of attributes and features that encourage the development of a student who has an international perspective and that has a constructivist educational focus, based on conceptual and interdisciplinary learning.

The PYP provides each student with a framework for investigation, exploration and study following the 6 interdisciplinary themes in every educational area. Who are we?  Where are we in time and space?  How de we express ourselves?  How does the world work?  How do we organise ourselves and how can we share the planet?

Despite the interdisciplinary focus of the PYP, the learning process revolves around six discipline areas: Languages; Social Studies; Mathematics; Art; Science and Technology; Personal, Social and Physical Education.

Special importance is given to the bilingual day (Spanish and English).

Years 1 and 2 of Infant Education: 65% of classes are in English.

Year 3 of Infant Education and Primary Education: 50% of the school day in English.

Starting from year 3 of Primary Education a second foreign language is studied (French or German).
