The IB® Primary Years Programme prepares students for lifelong independent learning and encourages a student personality that is active, sympathetic, respectful and participative.
The PYP provides each student with a framework for investigation, exploration and study following the 6 interdisciplinary themes in every educational area. Who are we? Where are we in time and space? How de we express ourselves? How does the world work? How do we organise ourselves and how can we share the planet?
Despite the interdisciplinary focus of the PYP, the learning process revolves around six discipline areas: Languages; Social Studies; Mathematics; Art; Science and Technology; Personal, Social and Physical Education.
